Simin (Lila Hatami) wants to leave Iran with his wife Nader and daughter Terme (Sarina Farhadi) and has prepared all the preparations for this. But Nader (Piman Maadi) doesn't want to leave his father, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, alone. These differences make Simin request a divorce from the court, but the court rejects his request and he is forced to return to his father's house. Termeh decides to stay with his father, Nader, hoping that his mother, Simin, will return to them. Nader cannot take care of his father, so he hires a servant named Razieh (Sarah Bayat). This young woman, who is pregnant, accepted this job without the knowledge of her husband Hojat (Shahab Hosseini). One day, Nader returns home and finds his father tied up and left alone. When Razia returns home, she gets into a fierce fight, the tragic consequences of which not only turn Nader's life upside down, but also change her daughter's image of her.
