Robert James Bobby Fisher was born on March 9, 1943 in Chicago. He was a chess player and former world champion. Fischer's contemporary chess masters agree that he was the best chess player in history. Bobby Fischer became a chess grandmaster in 1958 at the age of fifteen, which was a record at that time.
