Tehran Has No Pomegranates was filmed with a 35mm camera and it tells the story of Tehran's past and present with a critical, analytical and humorous tone, therefore some parts of the film are archival images. Of course, it seems that the filmmaker did not have enough freedom to use archival images due to moral restrictions or political sensitivities.
