Mimino is a pilot who works for a local airline in Georgia. He travels by helicopter between small villages in Georgia. Mimino dreams of becoming a pilot in a major international airline. That's why he goes to Moscow to attend training courses. He is staying in a hotel in Moscow where he meets an Armenian truck driver named Rubik. Rubik got a room in that hotel by mistake. Mimino and Rubik have many adventures together in Moscow.
