The Opium War(1997)

A historical drama that begins in Guangzhou in 1839, when British merchants associated with the opium trade are to be executed because opium is destroying the empire. After burning 20,000 boxes of opium by the Chinese, "England" declares war, because the burned opium was under the commercial dependence of the government and was brought by English merchants.
