Diclonius are quasi-human beings said to have been chosen by God to destroy humans. They have two main differences with humans: the horns they have on their heads and the ability to move objects from a distance. Because of this dangerous power, they are arrested by the government and kept in special laboratories. One of these creatures named Lucy (who is extremely dangerous) brutally kills the guards of the laboratory and escapes, but when she escapes, she is hit by a bullet in her head. He does not die but falls into the water and loses his memory. On the beach, a boy and a girl named Kota and Yuka find her without any clothes and only able to say one word.
