This documentary is about Mark Augustus Landis, an American painter and art forger. Mark Landis began his career as an art forger in the early 1980s. He donated paintings to museums and galleries across the United States for three decades and was known as a wealthy collector. But all these paintings were fake and he drew them from the original. He was never prosecuted because he was not paid for these paintings and therefore did not break the law.
