Harlan Draka, who is a dempir, half-human, half-vampire, but he doesn't know it. Suffered by terrible nightmares, he wanders in war-torn Bucharest and amuses himself by removing imaginary monsters from superstitious villages for money. But when he is recruited by soldiers who are under attack by real vampires, he learns the truth. He must destroy a scary professor with the help of his friends Emil Korjak and Tesla Dubcek.
