Space Battleship Yamato: The New Voyage(1979)

In 2201, Yamato finally returns from the devastating war with Emperor Zordar and the Comet Empire. Sanada, Aihara, and Shima are discharged from the hospital. They went to the Okita Memorial to pay their respects to the fallen crew. There they met Tokugawa's son, Tasuke, who told them that he wanted to join them after graduating from officer college. The next day of graduation, the boat was full of students and they were watching Yamato, but due to some simple problems that usually happen with the new crew, like hitting the wrong switch, Yamato's departure was delayed, so this could be a stage of simple training for them to serve on the ship.
