Firefly is a science fiction television series that premiered in the United States and Canada on September 20, 2002. The producer of this series is Joss Whedon, the creator of Buffy and Angel and Dollhouse. The story takes place in the year 2517, when a large population of humans migrated to a new system. The immigrants settled in tens of planets and hundreds of moons of this new world.
