Lightnin'(1925)

Lightnin Bill Jones, a man who is part bottle, does his own thing and odd jobs around the Calivada Hotel, run by his wife and devoted daughter Millie. Real estate insurance, learning that the hotel is located on the proposed corridor, Mother Jones sells the land, but, according to the advice of John Marvin, a young lawyer who is interested in Millie, Bill refuses to sign the bill of sale. Jones' mother sends him away from home and he lives in an old soldiers' home. Schemers convince Jones' mother to divorce Bill and take him to court. However, Mother Jones has a change of heart and agrees with Lyle. The schemers have been caught, and John and Millie are on the job
