This story describes what would happen if a magnitude 8 earthquake struck. The story is about a girl named Mirai who is in her first year of high school. At the beginning of the summer vacation, he and his brother Yutaka go to the artificial island of Tokyo called Odaiba to visit a ribbon exhibition. A strong tremor originating from the oceanic faults causes the famous Tokyo Tower and the Rainbow Bridge to collapse and the skyline of Tokyo collapses in an instant. With the help of a motorcycle delivery woman named Mari who they met in Odaiba, Mirai and Yutaka attempt to return to their home in Setagaya, west of Tokyo.
