Sorata Kanda is a second year high school student who lives in Sakurasu. A dormitory made for problematic students of their academy. He has to spend every day among strange people in the dormitory and he swears that one day he will finally escape from Sakurasu. One day, Mashiro Shina, a beautiful and innocent girl who is also a world famous painter, moves into their dormitory. Sorata thinks he needs to protect Mashiro from the strange residents of the dormitory. But Mashiro also has a very big secret, which is that he cannot live alone. For example, if he goes out alone, he gets lost, he can't tidy his room at all, and his room is always crowded. And he can't even take off his underwear, let alone wear it. After a while, Sorata is somehow called Mashiro's "owner" by the residents of the dormitory.
