The Summer Hikaru Died(2025)

Yoshiki and Hikaru are two young people who live in a small town in a remote place in Japan. These two are different from each other in terms of morals and interests, but they are good friends. One day in winter, Hikaru, who was walking alone in the mountains, gets badly injured. Just before his death, a strange and scary creature attacks him and seems to swallow him and he becomes Hikaru. Yoshiki soon realizes that this new "Hikaru", although he has all the memories and feelings of the original Hikaru, is somehow a different being. Yoshiki still wants to stay with Hikaru, but this strange behavior of Hikaru and a series of other scary creatures and people who are looking for these creatures may not let this friendship continue.
