The Master and Margaret(1972)

This film, adapted from the book of the same name written by Mikhail E. Bulgakov, contains several intertwined and interrelated stories during the time of the Soviet Union under Stalin's rule. Grandmaster Nikolai Masudov is a talented writer who, along with his assistant Margaret, is working on a story from the introductory book about Pontius Pilate. But his ill-wishers and jealous people kill some of his friends and send the rest to prison in Siberia. All these enmities cause the professor to suffer from paranoia and go to the hospital. Now Margaret is trying to save the professor before he is in danger.
