Murder 101(1991)

Charles Lattimore, the author of a book about famous murder trials, visits his ex-wife Laura's university for a series of lectures on how to write this successful novel. After the lecture, one of the students asks him to meet him that night. But this student is killed mysteriously and Lattimore is suspected of his murder.
