Flight of the Intruder(1991)

Captain Jake Grafton (Johnson), a US Navy pilot, is stationed on an aircraft carrier after the death of his co-pilot, Morgan McPherson (Rich), due to a poorly planned mission. Grafton, who is pessimistic about the current military situation, believes that if instead of politicians, the administration of war is left in the hands of soldiers, victory will be imminent and certain. Virgil Cole (Dafoe), a very confident pilot, also agrees with him. Together, these two fly a 6-A bomber known as "Musham" to bomb Hanoi in an unauthorized mission....
