The Barefoot Executive(1971)

A young man working in the mail room of a television network wants to be promoted, but is prevented from doing so by his arrogant boss. He accidentally finds out that his neighbor's chimpanzee has a special talent for TV shows. He uses these chimpanzee skills to land a job in the programming department of that network.
