Yataro Yaguchi, a second year high school student, is tired of his ordinary life. He studies well and goes out with his friends, but in reality he does not enjoy any of these activities. When he sees a painting by a member of the art club, he is fascinated by the colors used in that painting. Later, in a drawing exercise, he tries to express his language without using words, but using drawings.
