Investigative journalist Jeff Sefton is used to laughing at his brother Nate's ruthless obsessions, especially his latest rant about the successful TV series that he intends to hurt, although when his brother mysteriously disappears, Jeff takes Nate's paranoia seriously, and in the process of discovering the underground world of the cult (the name of the series) and its fanatical fans, he seems to be the only person who wants to help him in the investigation.
