"Little Voice" (Herax) is a shy and speechless girl who lives with her mother, "Mary" (Beltin). Little Voice rarely leaves the house and instead listens to her records and sings along to Shirley Bassey, Judy Garland and Marilyn Monroe. One night, "Mary" meets "Ri C" (Kane), an agent and "talent scout". "Mary" invites him to her house and it is there that "Ray" hears the voice of "Little Voice" and is so influenced by it that he thinks he can make a star out of him...
