A gypsy woman named Setara (Jamileh), after being rejected from home, leaves her young son Ali (Atesh) next to a house and runs away. Farashbashi (Nematullah Agassi) finds Ali and takes him to his workplace, which is a crowded elementary school, and takes care of him with the help of school children. The star takes a job in a cabaret and soon becomes famous, and struggles to find her child. He, who has a house next to the school, befriends Ali and Farashbashi.
