Rock is a simple employee of a large business center in Japan. His pastimes are limited to smoking and, of course, kicking his bosses. By chance, he is taken hostage by a group of pirates and this is the beginning of his new life. After his release, he prefers to continue living with these people. This group is known as Black Lagoon and consists of the following people: - Revy, nicknamed the shooter with both hands, a girl of Chinese-Japanese origin, hard-hearted and of course skilled in shooting - Dutch, a mixed-race black American, who is the leader of the group and is responsible for coordinating between people and taking missions. Benny: A student from Florida who is a professor in the field of telecommunications and computers and is in charge of group communication. After Rock joins the group, the anime deals with the relationships between the members of the group and their missions.
