Frankie and Johnny

"Frankie" (Pfeiffer) is a waiter at "Apollo", a restaurant in downtown New York, whose lonely life is limited between his workplace and his small apartment. "Johnny" (Pacino) is also a fraud who comes to New York after eighteen months of imprisonment. And Nick, the kind owner of Apollo, hires him as a cook. After a while, a friendly relationship develops between "Frankie" and "Johnny".
