In 1939, the fourth American radio network named WBN is going to be launched. Penny Henderson, the network executive's secretary, is struggling to organize opening night, and must deal with a disgruntled sponsor and a grumpy boss. As the programs begin to play, a mysterious sound is heard and agents are killed. Roger, the secretary's wife, must solve this mystery.
