Santos leads Colombia's popular movement to oust the oppressive president. When his movement fails and he is killed, his sister, Christina, goes to New York to find McBain. McBain is a lieutenant whose life Santos saved during the Vietnam War. He agrees to avenge the blood of Santos. McBain gathers old war buddies, raises money by killing several drug dealers and threatening the mafia, then leads an attack to overthrow the corrupt government.
