The year is 2010, more than ten years have passed since the summer Taichi met Agumon and the others. The existence of Digimon is gradually accepted around the world. During all of this, special events happen to the DigiDestined around the world, caused by a Digimon called Eosmon. But during the battle with Eosmon, Taichi's group learns a shocking truth: when a DigiDestined (children) becomes an adult, his partner Digimon will no longer exist... The threat posed by Eosmon gradually spreads and affects Taichi's friends as well. If fighting cannot save his friends, but fighting means that he will have to say goodbye to his life partner much sooner. Will he fight, even if it means losing the person he loves the most?
