Hector and Paris, princes of Troy, are guests in the state of Sparta. The king of Sparta, Menelaus, has a beautiful wife named Helen, who has stolen the heart of young Paris. On his return, Paris secretly steals Helen from the palace and takes him to Troy. Helen's escape becomes an excuse for Agamemnon, the power-hungry king of Greece, to attack the fortress-like city of Troy with thousands of warships.
