"Matt Murdoch" is a blind person who happened to him many years ago when he tried to save the life of an old man from an accident with a truck. Radioactive rays emitted from the chemicals inside the truck caused this, but instead Matt gained special abilities. Now he lives as a legal consultant in New York. But when his father is killed, he uses his power and abilities to fight criminals, so he defends the innocent during the day and punishes the criminals at night.
