Rob and Betty are a young boy and girl who start their life together in New York. A few weeks later, Rob is going to Japan on a business mission, so all of Rob's friends gather at his house to throw him a farewell party. Then suddenly a terrible noise is heard from outside and they find that New York is being destroyed. They don't know what happened and so they go to the street and later find out that a giant monster has attacked the city. Betty is trapped in a falling skyscraper and Rob decides to save her.
