When a high-ranking military commander named Nobunaga Oda consolidated his power in Japan, one of his actions was to wipe out a generation of assassins from the face of the earth. He massacred all the men, women and children of a village. Years later, one of the survivors hires a young but seasoned assassin to avenge the deaths of his friends and family.
