Lisa (Jones), a model, convinces photographer Sam Hendricks (Zimbalist Jr.) to smuggle a doll through airport customs. Sam takes the doll with him to the apartment where he lives with his blind wife Susie (Hepburn), unaware that the doll is filled with a shipment of expensive drugs that Lisa wants to wrest from her partner, Ruth (Arkin).
