Nowroz Khan (Nusratullah Karimi) lives in his ancestral house with his wife (Shahla Riahi), his son Homayoun (Shahyar Ghanbari), his daughter-in-law Ferangis and his daughter Nazi (Jale Sam). His children force him to sell the house and buy a plot of land to build a multi-storey apartment. He, who is paid by the office, goes bankrupt. To help them, Fereydon, the Nazi's fiance, steals his mother's diamond ring (Jamileh Sheikhi) and sells it for thirty thousand tomans.
