Mehran meets Safar in a cafe, and Safar, on behalf of his boss Qabad, suggests to Mehran that they kill Arbab Nouri and his daughter Mojgan in their hunting grounds. When Mehran reaches "Shaitan Koh" he falls in a deep pit and Mejgan saves him and takes him to their house and bandages his wounds. Kazem, the servant of the house, is suspicious of Mehran and Mozhgan tells Mehran that many years ago a fortune teller told him that she will marry a man who is the messenger of her death.
