Akbar comes to Tehran from Arak in search of work and rents a room that Mehdi, a businessman, has rented to him and Mash Yadullah. Akbar lives in the same room with Mesh Yadullah and his son Hassan, and Mesh Yadullah gives Akbar the rain van to work on. The house belongs to an elderly dancer named Marzieh, and Maryam, Mehdi's sister, is also her tenant. Maryam works in a manufacturing company, and Akbar is hired as a driver with her guarantee, angering Hossein, the company's storekeeper, who is interested in Maryam. Akbar gets into a fight with an aggressor while carrying a car on the road and runs away thinking that he has killed the man. Hossein and his men extort the cargo from him as a right to remain silent, and he inevitably hands over the cargo to them. Hossein informs the head of the company that Akbar has stolen the cargo, and the head of the company threatens to confiscate the property of Maryam's house as compensation for the guarantee. Akbar accidentally finds out that he did not commit the murder and gets into a fight with Hossein and his accomplices and recovers the cargo from them. Hossein takes Maryam hostage and confronts Akbar and Mahdi. Finally, they save Maryam and Akbar reaches Maryam and Mahdi reaches Marzieh.
