The story takes place in 2015 when magic still ruled everything. An organization for the security and survival of humanity called Chaldea is established to watch over a world that can only be seen by magic and measured only by science, and also to prevent the final extinction of humanity. Thanks to the efforts of many researchers, the history of humans is guaranteed up to 100 years into the future but, without any warning, the future world that was under the constant surveillance of Chaldea disappears. Human extinction was observed and confirmed in 2017. The reason for this destruction was in a city in Japan called Fuyuki in 2004. In this city, there is an unmonitored world that has never existed before. Chaldea orders a Holy Grail campaign to the Grand Council to investigate the reason for the extinction of humanity, find it and destroy it if possible!
