Seven noble families are fighting each other to rule the legendary land of Westeros. The Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon families are the most prominent. The story begins when Robert Baratheon, the king of Westeros, asks his old friend, Eddard, the lord of the Stark family, to serve him as the king's adviser, the highest position in the court. While the previous advisor has been mysteriously murdered, Eddard accepts the king's request and sets out for the royal lands. The Queen's family, the Lannisters, are conspiring to gain power. On the other hand, the remnants of the family of the previous king of Westeros, the Targaryens, are also planning to take back the throne, and all these events will lead to a huge battle between them...
