The story of Agatian tells the story of an art director who faces financial problems after his film project is canceled. To make up for the losses, he and his fiancée Veena decide to turn an old French mansion in Puducherry into a haunted house. While renovating, they discover an old 8mm video camera and an antique piano from the 18th century. By playing the footage on the camera, they learn the story of Dr. Siddharthan, a Siddh doctor from the 1940s who lived in Puducherry during the colonial rule of Edwin Duplex, the despotic French governor. These discoveries put Agatian and Vina on a path full of mystery, adventure and encounters with ghosts and otherworldly forces that they have to deal with in order to reveal the hidden secrets of the mansion and find a cure for Agatian's mother's illness...
