An elderly man leaves Wyoming to visit his daughter in a small town in Massachusetts; Because even though her daughter has not said anything, she believes that she needs his help. When he gets there, he finds his daughter, a lawyer, under a lot of stress because of her biggest client - an old man who is the richest and most powerful man in town. To help, the girl's father decides to "disappear" the old man by performing a rain dance he learned from the chief of an Indian tribe in Wyoming. To his disbelief, it starts to rain and the man actually disappears. However, the local sheriff suspects a crime and arrests the girl's father.
