The tragic love story of Orpheus and Eurydice is intertwined with the complex relationship between Hades and Persephone. Struggling with poverty, Eurydice is tricked by Hades and dragged into the industrial underworld of Hadestown. Meanwhile, Orpheus, a penniless musician, steps in to bring her back to this underworld.
