Berlin, a city-state on the verge of collapse. While a privileged few live under a climate-controlled dome, the people outside struggle to survive in a ravaged world of heat, corruption, and crime. After years apart, two sisters, Bey and Phoebe, reunite and discover a dark secret: vampires are determined to seize political power, and blood has become the town's new currency.
