In 1958, during the celebration of the end of primary education, a group of school students are asked to design pictures that are supposed to be kept in the school's historical and cultural museum. All the students draw their favorite pictures, but instead of drawing, a female student fills her papers with a row of her favorite numbers... Fifty years later, a new generation of students are used to find the concepts in the designs of the students of the fifties. One of the students of the new generation is Caleb Koestler, who is trying to decipher the codes of the female student of 1958. With the help of his father, Professor John Koestler (Nicolas Cage), he decoded the said writing, and the professor realizes that this mysterious writing predicts the date of certain events in the future...
