Karim (Bahman Mofid) is infatuated with Mastane (Hala), the cabaret singer of Mohsen (Abdullah Butimar). In order to save Mastana and marry her, Karim takes Mastana's promissory notes back and marries Mastana. Mohsen, in retaliation, with the help of Ahmedfari (Hossein Gil), drunken brother, insults Ezra (Shahrashob), Karim's sister, and after driving her into addiction, he borrows her to work as a singer in Mohsen's cabaret.
